You can fix this error on Windows 10 by disabling Fast Startup.

  1. Start button > Control Panel (View by Large icons) > Power Options.
  2. select Choose what the power button do.
  3. select Change settings that are currently unavailable.
  4. uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended)

If not working, you need to reinstall Display Driver In Safe Mode

Firstly, there are many causes can create this type of BSOD errors on your computer. Therefore, you have to figure out the reason first. There are two popular utilities that many users often use to analyze BSODs, they are:

WhoCrashed - http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed

BlueScreenView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

Both work the same. You just need to download and use to find the cause. After that, you will know the next step you should do.

Here are a few common reasons that often cause DPC Watchdog Violation BSOD, take a look!

https://usefulpcguide.com/17082/dpc-watchdog-violation/

I would recommend booting into Safe Mode to do whatever necessary to resolve BSOD. The reason is that sometimes you might not be able to access regular mode. Also, by doing from Safe Mode, you will have the permission as an administrator.

Post back if the BSOD persists, with the information from WhoCrashed or BlueScreenView so I can help to diagnose further.

Hi, ngochacan2001sg,

Please do this:

:step1: Upload MEMORY.DMP

• Press and hold the Windows Key + R on your keyboard at the same time.
• In the Run box, type in %WinDir% and hit Enter on your keyboard.
• Find the file MEMORY.DMP and copy/paste it on to your Desktop.
• Zip up MEMORY.DMP (use .ZIP please!!!) and upload it to a trustworthy file-sharing service.

:step2: MiniToolBox by Farbar

• Download and save MiniToolBox from here.
• Right-click on MiniToolBox.exe, select Run as administrator, and accept any User Account Control Prompts.
• Hit Select All and click Go. (You may uncheck Reset IE Proxy/FF Proxy Settings if you have intentionally setup a proxy server.)
• Once MiniToolBox is complete, it will open a text file called MTB.txt, which is stored in the same directory you ran MiniToolBox from.
• Please copy and paste the contents of MTB.txt in your next reply.

We usually need a full kernel dump to diagnose 0x101s. :thumbup2:
