keyboard has stopped working properly. I have a Tosihba Satellite. 4 years old.

I can only type 4 letters and then no space bar. how can I correct this .?

Take note of exact make/model.

Google that service manual .pdf.

Be careful as a LOT of websites are "rigged".

Take it apart and check connector ribbon. If it is secured properly one may need a new key-board... but play with it and make sure the connectors/seat are clean.

Before ordering a new keyboard... via DEvice Manager > uninstall all mice and keyboard drivers and reboot. may have to reboot twice. Do not uninstall the software when prompted.
