Hi all. I am not very tech minded. Just got new laptop with windows 10 !!!

I am trying to transfer from a disc a PES file to computer. then to my Brother Sewing Machine via usb. With windows 7 I had to put into "removable Disc".

 which then transferred to sewing machine.

 But cannot find anything on windows 10. ??? Please someone help!!

Is this PES file on a CD or DVD? Open File Explorer by pressing the Windows key + E. Your Optical drive or USB flash drive should be listed in the left pane.

HI THE FILES ARE ON C.D. BUT THEY ALL SHOW UP AS LITTLE CIRCLULAR BLUE SPOTS AND NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I CLICK ON THEM. ??

I am not sure what else to try. It seems the CD is somehow corrupted. You can post a screenshot by searching for snipping tool in the search box. Save the file as a jpg. Click More Reply Options next to the Post button and attach the jpg file.

hI THE C.D WORKS FINE ON WINDOWS 7 (OLD  LAPTOP) !!!   JUST CANT SEEM TO FIND ANYTHING ON WINDOWS 10??   EVEN BOUGHT A COPY OF WINDOWS 10 FOR DUMMIES!!   NOTHING IN THEIR EITHER?    WILL NOT BE BEATEN THOUGH!¬!  I WILL KEEP TRYING THANKS FOR ADVICE :)

Can you transfer the files from the CD on the Windows 7 computer to a USB flash drive and then from the flash drive to the Windows 10 computer?
