I have not being able to install this external hard drive enclosure on a PC with windows 10. It is a CINTRE X II Gear. I have searched different places with no luck finding the proper driver.

Please advise where I could find this driver.

THANKS

Is this a clean new drive with no file system you installed in the enclosure?

Yes, the enclosure you used before but is the hard drive new? If the drive has already been partitioned and formatted then it's possible the USB bridge card in the enclosure has failed.

The hard drive is not new.It was installed on another PC,and I want to extract the files from it. Apparently like you said is possible that the USB bridge card has failed, and I assume it is not worth it to repaired it.

Thanks.

You may want to look at this type of USB adapter for accessing your files.
