Hope this is the right sub-forum. It's the only one involving Microsoft. I have a laptop with Windows 7 and anticipate having to replace it relatively soon. I purchased Word 2013 shortly after buying the laptop. It was not pre-installed. Will I be able to transfer the license to the new one or will I have to re-purchase Word? I tried finding out on a Microsoft forum but couldn't get a straight answer. If someone has a definite answer I would appreciate it. Thanks.

When you are ready to transfer the license to a new computer. Uninstall Word from the old computer. Then you can reinstall it and use the license on the new computer. The license is good for one computer application.
