hey everyone, i have been having this wierd problem for a the past few days. My comp runs Win XP and its about a year old. I burn my dvds with Sonic or Nero depending on the need. My prob is that after I burn the dvds and reinsert them in the drive, my D drive shows the dvd as blank. My dvd burning programs say that the disc was burnt succesfully but my comp still sees the dvd as empty. I installed other dvd burning software but the prob still doesnt go away. Its playing all my other burnt dvds so I guess its working. Any ideas why it's still doing this ? Any help would be appreciated!

hey yes i did that and windows says that the device is working properly. I really cannot get what the problem is considering its playing all my other dvds just fine. Now its stopped recognising blank dvds when i put them in. What do I do now! Do you think that it is seeing my dvds as cds? I heard of some way to check that but I dont know how...
