So i have an old Motorola droid xt1080 what absolutely won't charge. I've tried probably 4 differant cord/plug combinations to try and charge it, as well as blowing it out(caned air) etc.

So since it really dosen't matter if it is messed up i opened up the back of the phone and all and got the the soder points for the usb connector and was wondering one main thing:

http://tinypic.com/r/2ii96a9/9 in the picture there are 4 points on ether side of the plug, and i was wondering if it was possible to connect wire to a combination of those and charge it that way, and if its possible which ones.

Thanks,
