Hi all,

I have been having BSOD errors frequently for a number of months, I have recently tried a fresh install of Windows on my PC in an attempt to resolve the issue but to no avail. I have also recently installed a new graphics card, however the stop errors precede the new installation. The errors range from occurring mid-game, when I'm closing down games, watching a YouTube video or even when I'm just chatting on Teamspeak or Skype.

My system was custom built (built by me) and has the following specs;

Windows 7 (64 bit)

Components all around 1 year old, except graphics card which is new ( <1month)

Reinstalled OS  <1month ago

CPU - i7-4790K

GPU - GTX1080

PSU - Corsair builder series (1000W)

Desktop

The OS is installed on 2 SSDs (Samsung EVOs) ran in RAID 0, another pair of RAID EVOs are being ran separately (but currently empty) and a 1TB HDD as a backup (although only 2 files on here right now).

Thanks for any help you can provide, I really appreciate any assistance. I have ran a memory diagnostic (windows) and driver verifier (which caused a few blue screens). I am going to purchase some blank disks to try memtest tomorrow.

Please see dump files attached.

Download BlueScreenView:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.

when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All

Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt

Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

Okay, your errors are all over the place and could be failing hardware. But Direct-X appears to be the cause in a number of instances, so let's do the following before we hunt zebras:

1) Go to the website of your display adapter manufacturer and download and install the latest driver

2) Make sure you have the latest version of Direct-X  (11.x for Windows 7). If not, download and install: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Look in device manager - are there any yellow or red symbols?

Hey there,

Sorry for the late reply - went through a very busy period at work so haven't had much time to sit on my own PC!

I followed your instructions, direct X was up to date. Nvidia drivers are always up to date as GeForce Experience tells me when they are out of date. I also have driver easy installed so been using that to make sure everything is updated.

There is 1 yellow symbol on Device manager for a USB controller?

1) I urge you to uninstall any 3rd party driver utilities. All they do is cause problems. Please go to the Nvidia website and make sure you do have the most current driver for your display adapter.

2) In Device Manager, right-click on the usb controller with the yellow symbol, choose "uninstall" and then reboot

@Elbanis

Will you please run the Sysnative File Collection App, so I can inspect the latest dump files? :)

Thanks.

Hello there,

The latest memory dump indicates that you had a rare STOP 0x0000004A: IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE bugcheck. While the information in the dump is scarce, I do believe that your graphics driver is still to blame. I'd like you to try version 368.69 of your NVIDIA graphics drivers, as it seems to be pretty stable.

When doing so, please perform a Custom Installation, as demonstrated below:

When you click Next, make sure you only install the Graphics Driver (and the PhysX System Software if you're a gamer). Also, check Perform a clean installation (see below):

Warning! Please read this first.
PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL ANY 3D DRIVERS!!! I've seen them cause odd issues before.
