Typed up quite a long email and sent it to drafts folder and there was no way I could get back in later to finish it off & send. Fired up my MacBook Air got into drafts and did the job on that. Later went back to the main W7 laptop and bingo I got straight into the draughts folder but then couldn't get into the Sent folder?  Any ideas/help with this please?

What errors are given when trying to access problematic folders?

No error message at all just couldn't get in to those folders, I have never been keen on Outlook I think it is a 2nd rate program. Hotmail was far better and I was changed over from Hotmail to Outlook without any warning from MS which peeved me off no end.

Okay the problem has come good how or why I have no idea it seem to have resolved itself, maybe after rebooting the laptop this morning did the trick. Time will tell.

Glad it is sorted for the moment. Personally I use Outlook to receive from all email accounts. Although I use Office 2007 SP3 it has been stable for years so see no reason to change. Just sayin' not sure about newer versions but they are essentially the same coding; I suppose. Used other clients and just prefer Outlook.

Sure: Things get a bit buggy once in a while in this age of digital media... take a little time and if it doesn't come to ya... BC is here. :)
