Hi folks,

My laptop keeps getting "Default gateway is not available" when connected to wifi networks, forcing me to run troubleshooting or disconnect and reconnect. This is most common when running multiplayer-intensive games (i.e. Team Fortress 2) but the blackouts also occur with normal browsing, just less often.

Since the same thing happens across multiple wifi networks I'm beginning to think this is a local issue. I'm running a Lenovo G580 with Windows 10 Professional.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated :)

I suspect issues between your wifi and the router.  Post a screen shot of what inssider or xirrus wifi inspector see for us to review.

That is a good question.  A google search brings up a lot of leads worth exploring.

We only need a couple of screen shots.  Share or Free ware is all about what you want and what you feel comfortable with.

It would be great to hear back as to what freeware product you chose and why.

Good fortune

Would something like this works? I'm not sure if it has the capabilities required for troubleshooting.
