Well, it would help if you post what OS and if 32bit or 64bit.

Maybe here:

http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Conexant%20AC-link%20audio%20

But, as JohnC_21 asked, it would be helpful to post your OS.

Also computer info.

I never make the same mistake twice....I always make it 5 or 6 times just to be sure!

Thank you JohnC_21. Hopefully the driver listed there is what he needs.

@jake21, the XP driver is listed in the link saw101 posted. For Vista use Vista's compatibility mode with the XP driver.

I'm gong through the listings you so graciously provided. I noticed that some of these drivers do not have  setup.exe file....they appear to be cab files, etc. How do I  install a driver that does not have a .exe or setup file? Thanks again...great resource.

You can extract the cab file like a zip file. You should be able to double click the cab file to open. If not then Winrar or the free 7zip can do it. I just downloaded a cab file and a exe file was in the package.

8086 indicates intel as the vendor and the device ID as a AC-97 controller of the ICH6 chipset.
