After installing W& into my wife's computer we've been getting a warning of low disk space on "D" drive. I tried to do a Delete Volume under Disk Management, but it will not give me the option (highlight) for "Delete Volume" when I right click.  What I see when I go to my Computer is in the image below. Could not leave an Image, but I did do Attachment. I hope it came through.

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
  List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

   Go to Piriform's website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from Piriform.com (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

    After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

     Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

     Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

     Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Add Reply below the Reply box.

Thanks :).

Plenty of room on hard drive...may be malware situation based on the errors that I see.  Moving topic to Am I Infected forum for a malware check.

@Louis

I don't believe the full disk warning is an error, and I don't believe this would be related to malware.

@Ocean77

The D: drive is a recovery partition.  You don't want to mess with this, don't try to add anything to it.  Most important, don't attempt to remove this partition as it is important.

Your C: drive which the operating system is installed on has a capacity of 581GB and has 425GB of free space.  There is no low disk space with this drive.

In light of the information that has arisen since moving this topic to Am I Infected, I'm moving it back to Windows 7. This topic concerns the D: partition

Ocean77, if you want a malware check on your C: partition as Hamluis has suggested, please start another topic in the Am I Infected forum, and paste the contents of post #4 from this topic, into the OP in your new topic.

The User has installed the new OS on the D drive.

Very little space left on it, hence the warning.

All operations will likely fail on it as Temp files need to be generated to complete and theres NO room for them

Torchwood, do you think thread starter could un-install Windows 7 from that D drive?  However, if that's the recovery partition, the recovery material might very well be gone, correct?

The operating system is installed on the C: drive.  The D: drive is only 14.65GB in size, Windows 7 32-bit with SP1 requires 16GB of space.

Thank you all so much for your interest and help. Still not quite sure if there is a fix for this? Is there anything I can do? System Restore?
