Hi, files in my computer have been affected by SAMSAM Ransomware.

File extension has been changed to weencedufiles.

There is also a ransom note with the name "00n-READ-READ-READ.html" where n stands for a number.

Anyone knows a decryption key to this?

There is no way to decrypt SamSam, they use secure crypto. You can only restore from backups or pay the ransom. Your entire network was also compromised.

See the support topic for more info: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/607818/samas-ransomware-support-and-help-topic-help-decrypttxt-encedrsa/

If you do pay and receive keys from them, I can provide a better decrypter that has a GUI and is less buggy, but it requires their keys.

Rather than have everyone with individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any more questions, comments or requests for assistance in the above support topic discussion...it includes experiences by experts, a variety of IT consultants, end users and company reps who have been affected by ransomware infections. To avoid unnecessary confusion, this topic is closed.
