As a result of (as yet unsuccessful) efforts to solve a problem I have with sign-in options I have acquired a couple of new 'accounts' on my PC. I have not had more than one account at a time before. They will probably not serve any long-term purpose but I am just starting to look at them out of curosity. I am puzzeled by the mixture of apps which are present on my 'parent' account and others which are absent. For example a new utility called SideSlide is unexpectedly present but without virtually any of the customisation, and absent is virtually all of my desktop.

Is there a simple logic to this? I have used the same password to log-in.

Will there be any advantage to keeping the additional accounts long term as only one person uses the computer?

Does anyone else have access to this computer?

Have you downloaded any new programs recently?

Under System Properties do you have Allow remote connections to this computer enabled?

Have you run a scan with your antivirus or other security scans?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
