I am unable to move or copy any pictures from my Canon Powershot A495! I try to drag and drop after opening the digital camera icon on My computer and I try to drop them into my external hard drive and every time I do so I get the following error message

error copying folder or file. The System cannot find the file specified

I tried restarting the computer, turning the digital camera off and on and unplugging and re-plugging in the USB cable but the problem persists.

I saw on another forums someone having issues with this error message but he was trying to use a msdos command in command prompt, I am just copying files with drag and drop.

I can open each and every one of the pictures up in Windows Photo Viewer but I cannot copy any of them to my computer

Anybody know what the problem could be?

Do you have the Canon software installed?

Is the camera recognized by the Windows Photo Wizard?

Worth A Look.
