Please explain what is happening.  You posted that the start menu doesn't work.

Are you seeing the search the web bar in your browser?

I'm guessing that the Windows search you are referring to is the magnifying glass icon in the task bar?  This no longer works?

Is the wifi icon still seen in the task bar?

I'm guessing that you mean the Window image in the task bar to open the Start Menu?

Once again, is the search bar you are referring to the icon shaped like a magnifying lens?

What does appear when you click on the wifi icon?

What happens if you press the Windows key and the X key together?  Do you get a menu?
