Hi,

The forums are really busy, that explains why logs get behind. If you still need some help, please start with posting a new hijackthislog in this thread. Don't start with a new thread.
Then I'll take a look.

Also, Can you rename Hijackthis.exe to Analyse.exe
Then scan with Analyse.exe and post the log in your next reply (which will be a hijackthislog ofcourse)

Hello,

I see you are running Teatimer.
I suggest you to disable it because it can interfere with the changes you'll make on your system.
When everything is done and your log is clean again, you can enable it again.
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.
How to disable TeaTimer during HijackThis Cleanup
Then, Download ResetTeaTimer.bat.
Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your C:\.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • In case it says that nothing was been found, Right click the list box (white box) in the main VundoFix window.
  • Select Add More Files? from the menu that comes up. This will open a new VundoFix window.
  • In the Window: copy and paste next in the first field: C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljjh.dll
  • Click the Add Files button.
  • Click the "Close Window" button.
  • Click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Turn your computer back on. It could be possible after reboot that vundofix was not able to delete the file, so when Vundofix opens again, rightclick in the window to add more files and paste this path in it again: C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljjh.dll. Then let Vundofix proceed with the fix and reboot once more.
* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FAC03400-D445-4EA9-A03D-969CD2E397D8} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljjh.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [seekmo] "c:\program files\seekmo\seekmo.exe"
O20 - Winlogon Notify: mljjh - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljjh.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: winjrs32 - winjrs32.dll (file missing)

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Update your Sun Java, because previous versions are vulnerable:
Updating Java:
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on the Software icon > add/remove programs.
  • Search in the list for all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment.... )
It should have next icon next to it: Posted Image
    Select it and click Remove.
  • Then Download and install the newest version from here:http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:
  • Close all instances of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
  • Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
  • Click the "Delete Cookies" button
  • Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
  • When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content", click OK
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have Firefox installed):

Hello,

I see you enabled Teatimer again... and most probably forgot to use resetteatimer.bat previously, or allowed the changes in teatimer, because I see Teatimer replaced the malicious entries back in your log.

So, disable teatimer again, then use resetteatimer.bat.

Then fix next entries in hijackthis:

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {92C15FDD-1D16-4E89-84F5-3F5FFE189D76} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {CF2C8BEF-CA97-45C2-B584-31F513384D6C} - (no file)
O16 - DPF: {8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93} (Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06) -
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-0015-0000-0006-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06) -
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-FFFF-FFFF-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06) -

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

When Teatimer gives an alert afterwards, make sure you allow it and don't block it, because teatimer is alerting about the hijackthisfix you did.

Post a new hijackthislog in your next reply.

The files that reappeared is because of Teatimer previously.. So check and fix next entries again:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [seekmo] "c:\program files\seekmo\seekmo.exe"

Glad I could help.

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

* Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.
* Don't click on links inside popups.
* Don't click on links in spam messages claiming to offer anti-spyware software; because most of these so called removers ARE spyware.
* Download free software only from sites you know and trust. Because a lot of free software can bundle other software, including spyware.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Housecall and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

If you are having XP SP2, read here how to configure Security Features for Internet Explorer:
