What is a good inexpensive provider and cell phone that are prepaid or have no contracts Thank You

I was on RingPlus Free until they shut it down. I ported over to Tello. They have a pay as you go plan that starts at $5 and calls are 3 cents a minute. Texts are 1 cent. If you do not do much calling that is the way to go. 

 

They also have a monthly plan. Another low cost provider is Ting. FreedomPop is also free but it uses VOIP for calls instead of cell. You also cannot call 911 using FreedomPop.

Does anyone use Cricket? I was looking at that phone as well.

I have US Mobile (www.usmobile.com), which is prepaid and no contract. I have a plan that costs $17 per month (incl fees) but they have even smaller plans if you're not a heavy user. I'm very happy with them, the customer support is great!
