internet explorer on window 10 laptop

have a friend that has a laptop with windows 10 and she likes internet explorer but it keep telling her that there is a problem they will send to Microsoft and the program has to close. well when it closes and opens up again that pops up again and you cannot do anything with it. We have tried what the said to do on Microsoft web site we did the compatibility thing still does the same thing we tried several other things they said to do but it did no good. anyone with any suggestions we are open to them. thank you for any help you may be able to give me. Try going to the Windows Update program and installing all needed updates. If that doesn't help, reset IE by pressing the windows key and R at the same time, typing inetcpl.cpl in the run box, clicking advanced, clicking Reset all settings, then Reset. The restart the computer and see if it works.

Try booting to safe mode (with networking). Will IE open there?


What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?
