Hi all

Hope you can help to solve this puzzle:

A couple of days ago, when doing some housekeeping in My Documents, I spotted two strange unknown folders with random files in it. One starting with AA and the other folder starting with Z.

I ran virus and malware checks, with the software I have installed, but also ran some  checks with online scanners etc. - nothing 'nasty' found.

Scanning the actual folders (and its files) was not possible (files encrypted message) - so I tried to shred both folders a few times; each time both folders were 'recreated' within a minute - again folder names starting with AA and Z - but both folder names and the files contained in the folder had different names.

Would really appreciate your help and advice - I will try to upload the screen shoots I took from these folders, including the files.

Thanks very much!

Do you have RansomFree installed? It's known to do that:
