Hi, My name is Colin and I'm having a problem with my GPU, it almost seems as though It is not being used. this is a reoccurring and disappearing problem, it only happens every once in a while and then it will disappear and my graphics card will work fine again. I'm going to mention this now because I definitely am NOT a computer wiz. I have a little experience with computers however not enough to solve this, so this very well might not be my GPU it could be something else I have just made an educated guess that it is. Here are my specs, ive got an EVGA GeForce GTX 970, MSI gaming motherboard Z170A M5 LGA 1151, Corsair RM series RM850 power supply, an intel core I5-6500 quad core 3.2 ghz, and my ssd is a Samsung 850 Evo M.2 500GB (edit* Vengeance LPX 18 gig ram). Ive tried Completely reinstalling windows and re downloading all my drivers, ive tried changing control panel settings, I have completely taken the computer apart and rebuilt it and cleaned it. I am EXTREMELY frustrated and confused because the computer practically teases me with a few days of good 60 FPS gaming and then it poops out on me and ill be running around 40 frames on easier games and 10-20 on harder to run games like ARK or Fallout 4. Before I reset my computer I had EVGA precision X and I would monitor my stats before it would work and after. while I was playing it seemed as though my GPU use was at about 16 to 24%, however when it wasn't in a dry spell the usage would be at 80 to 100 and I would run everything fine. I monitored this while playing BF1, the computer can run what I'm throwing at it, its almost as if it just, doesn't want to. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! please help, if I haven't provided enough information say so and ill try to get it to you ASAP. Thanks
