So i'm just a HAIR more than an average user. I was convinced to build a gaming PC (yeah, i know, gaming pc with windows 10....get your chuckles out). And I just swapped my video card. after the swap (maybe in between, maybe before, but i noticed the issues after), my pc had a hard time booting up.  I assumed it had to do with assigning the correct drivers and what not. Once I FINALLY got it booted i went to update my nvidia software and it wasn't working. So I was going about uninstalling when it wouldn't let me uninstall anything. Long story short, it says that i don't have permissions to do certain things. The bottom line is that i'd rather NOT clean install windows (as i've never backed up game saves/mods and what not before but if that seems to be the best bet...so be it).

Long story short (er)...where do I even begin with this issue?

thanks in advance.
