Just Happened this mourning. I was using firefox and it froze and when I did session restore it was blank. Did it a couple of times and then tried trouble shooting but all my restore sessions were overwritten. Was lucky to restore half of it but I want to recover how it was. Ive been trying several programs but Havent had luck. I tried Recuva several times and no luck. The rest was red and said overwritten. The best I got was the yellow logo but it doesnt recover the file properly. That program has never worked. Any tips or softwares I can use to recover the recovery.js?

Do you have access to:

c:\users\[user acct]\AppData\Local\Mozilla

c:\users\[user acct]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla

there might be a way to recover that file from one of those two directories

-- I don't have that file; I guess my FF is different   :)

for the reply. I couldnt wait forever. I needed to browse and knowing it would be deleted in my history I did it the old fashion way. I recovered it all through my history. I finished today. A week ago. It took one week to recover everything. I didnt know it was so much and stuff and I was happy i did it because though i knew it was important most of the time i forgot about and wouldve liked to gone over. Now I keep a back with a ff addon. I hope nobody goes through this. Its awful. Just so you know why it happens. If you dont let the session restore load when you start it then for sure you going to go through this mess. If it doesnt load. Dont restarted it. Run to your session restore session and readd it to the regular folder. otherwise your bleeped. I hope this saves someones life. I got lucky and had enough history on it to recover it all. DONT RELAY ON SESSION RESTORE!
