Windows 8.1 install problem

hey guys i want to ask a problem am facing recently

which is that

i have upgraded my system bios from v2.04 to v2.17 for my acer aspire E1-572G and installed windows is 10 but when i boot it requires legacy boot instead of UEFI boot which was my first boot mod before upgrading bios.. Now i want to install windows 8.1 but it shows error to not install windows 8.1 .. should i boot it from UEFI .. from bootable device ..
