Puter Freezes

Ok, this is weird. Every time I press a key on the keyboard the computer stops responding so I am forced to manualy shutdown the computer.

What type of keyboard is it? (USB or PS2)
Did you check your keyboard connection? With the power off, disconnect and reconnect the keyboard. Did you make any changes just prior to this problem?

It is a USB keyboard. I have tried a PS2 keyboard but with the same results. My mom had to install SAM 2003 for her school. I have tried to uninstall but I get an error.

Do a XP system restore, and pick a date just prior to loading SAM 2003.

Use System Restore to Undo Changes if Problems Occur

Hopefully, you can do that with your keyboard...

With system restore though I will lose the firewall and AVG free I installed today. So another option if possible.

After using System Restore you do need to redo any updates you did from the restore point date to present.

You also may need to reinstall some programs if installed in that interum.

ok thnx. I am aware any updates, etc need to be reinstalled and will get to it asap. well thnx again and it was SAM 2003 but we dont need it since my mom can use it at skewl thnx though. :D
