Hello all,

I need help replacing the palm rest from a new computer I got a couple of days ago. As the topic suggests, it is an HP EliteBook 8470p. Having removed a bunch of screws and even the keyboard, nothing is working for me. I would appreciate it greatly if someone could give me specific directions on how to remove the palm rest so that I could put in the new one!

Thank you in advance.

Here is the Service and Maintenance manaul for the HP EliteBook 8470w and 8470p.  HP is really great about providing this information.  You go to the HP Drivers site and look up your computer and then on the left side after you select the computer there is a link to the manuals.
