Windows Error 0x80070017 when attempting back up

I continue to receive this error message when attempting to run backup on Dell PC with Windows 10

You might want to try running chkdsk per the directions in this thread on the error you report:  https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/eabc0db5-03ce-4079-8f30-ef88ce8477ce/backup-failed-error-code-0x80070017?forum=windowsbackup 

 

There are a number of other potential solutions as well.  A web search on "Windows Backup 0x80070017" turns these up.
