I have a Samsung table that I've been using the mail app with my Gmail account for several years. It has always worked perfectly everywhere I've taken the tablet. Last week I changed my home internet provider from cable to AT&T Uverse. Now I can't get the mail app to sync. I can still take the tablet elsewhere and connect to other WiFi networks and it works perfectly--just not at home. I can also use other email accounts with the app at home--just not Gmail. I can even use the Gmail app and get my mail--just not the Samsung mail app.
AT&T can't figure out the problem. They've even tried turning off the firewall in their hardware completely--but it doesn't solve it. Now they are sending me a new router to try.
I'm wondering if anyone here has had the same or similar problem and has a solution.
