I am unable to reply to the topic below. It's saying I don't have permission, even tho' I am logged in. Also if I search for the title it tells me nothing is found. It shows up if I paste the url into my browser.

I just joined but have not tried to reply anywhere else. I did post a message in the introductions forum successfully.

Thank you!

Only trained malware removal helpers can reply in that particular subforum :)

Users can only reply to their own topics if they are being assisted.

So why wouldn't it show up in search? I tried searching for just the program name, too.

Posters typed:

VideoDownloaderUltimate

Video Downloader Ultimate

-- sometimes a search will not reveal "close enough" spellings in posts or threads.

In another forum, a user keeps typing "Windoze" so his posts are almost never picked up in a search for "Windows"

Yeah, but I would think it would catch it when I copy/pasted the exact thread title!  :)

Anyway, no biggie. Just curious.

Just to explain what I was doin', I found the topic on google but wasn't a member. So I signed up, verified and all and signed in, but was not shown as signed in on the tab that had the topic, so I copied the topic title and searched for it in the tab where I was signed in and got no hits. I also searched for Video Downloader Ultimate which I also copy/pasted fron the topic title.
