Hello,

my name is "Olfibits".

In this topic I introduce myself and will be open for any questions or answers.

First, my native language is German. I'm from Bavaria - so please understand that my English isn't best  :grinner:  - and I want to use this forum to talk to other experts and developers as well as being a help for others.

"Olfibits" is just a nickname, not a realname. I don't want everybody to know who I really am. If you want to know or contact me, write in the topic and that contact me through a private message or my mail adress (mail to olfibits@web.de). Thanks you understand.

I'm a independent software developer and my main skills are writing Batch scripts and designing GUIs for my AV tools.

I have a Jimdo web page (http://olfibits.jimdo.com) where I am going to publish my tools. The page may not be ready now.

What I want to do: I may have questions how to improve my tools.

What I offer is: I can share my tools for you in order to clean and support other people in the forum.

I am mostly using Batch-To-Exe-Converter by f2ko or Advanced Bat To Exe Converter for compiling my scripts, and I also have started designing applications with Visual Studio or Visual Basic Express.

But I stopped designing with Visual Basic for two reasons:

1.) With a editor/viewer and a bit PC skills, everybody can see for example a button text in the *.EXE code and what happens by clicking

2.) Not every user has the right Microsoft .NET Framework.

That's why I design with AutoIT and Koda Form Designer now. Most software is packed in an InnoSetup package.

Some of you who read this topic now may think I want to share viruses on this forum. Well, I'd honestly not. I wrote down a list of software I already have done (some are in German). If you want to check one of the programs below that are already completed, you can contact me and I will send it to you.

Software List:

  • Olfibits MultiFix (cmdline-tool with installer)
  • Olfibits Emergency Scanner (cmdline tool)
  • Olfibits MultiFix (improved version, work on progress with GUI in AutoIT!)
  • Olfibits Notfall-Sicherheits-Scanner (=emergency scanner, in German)
  • Olfibits PC Utility (work in progress, already completed as VisualBasic application)
  • Olfibits On-Demand-Scanner (next project)
  • Olfibits Anti-Malware Pro (next project)

I'm also interested in programming HTML, PHP and MySQL for web applications.

What I hope I can do is helping other people for free with my software. Well, it always may happen that later Anti-Malware-tools will have a 30-day-trial and that's it with "for free"... but my opinion is that EVERYBODY should be able to get help to computer problems.

It'll be nice to hear from you! :hello:

Greetings from Germany,

Olfibits
