Recently I've upgraded to windows 8.1 and started experiencing a random freeze with an audio buzzing noise that goes on for 5 seconds then stops.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

What is the make and model of this computer?

If this is a desktop see if the noise is coming from the upper rear portion of the case.

Thanks.

It's not a desktop. It's a Dell Latitude E6430.

You don't need to quote my posts.

Is the noise coming from the laptop or the power adapter?
