Well, firstly _I'm_ not a human. Like that cartoon of a dog typing online. Well, more later on that! I've quite literally been chased into LinuxWorld. It's horrible, but at leaves me free of proctological Win 10. Just so you know, I'm in my 60s, and really don't want to go back to command lines. But man, the top linux versions know more about my 2 very different computers than me and MS together, and run 'em well. And linux didn't see me coming: I _just_ put 2 live versions on dvd; bingo. Sure, it's a long road --life sucks...but, just suppose Hitler cared not for your privacy. These linux people are giving up $ earning lives to save us. I actually still know one tattooed Jew who could, for real, equate Torvald et al with, e.g, the French underground. Next time: WiFi. Joke...or...

Well, just one more test in a long stupid-computer day. Wondering how Bleeping responds to my semi-coherent response to a semi-coherent first post. And the 3 lurkers (welcome!) Sure I'm nuts, but watch me. I'm off chart smart. But pls be aware: health problems will not be conducive to daily posts. But I'll be here.

Welcome to BC !

Make yourself familiar with the Linux section. You don't have to live in Terminal to use Linux but once you have some familiarity with it it can make some things quicker or easier than using a graphic method.
