Can somebody please post a list of Windows Vista Updates (full KB number format) for the month of January 2017, if there are any? My 4 Windows Vista laptops have been on continuously, "Checking for Updates" since January 10th, 2017 and still nothing. It's already January 16th today. I thought I would just install them manually if there are any updates. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi DCom73:

If you were fully patched as of December 2016, the only Important/Recommended updates released for Vista SP2 for the January 2017 Patch Tuesday updates on 10-Jan-2017 were KB3216775 (MS17-004: Security Update for Local Security Authority Subsystem Service: January 10, 2017) and the latest version of KB890830 for the January 2017 Malicious Software Removal Tool.  The Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary for January 2017 shows that there were only four security updates released in January 2017 for all supported versions of Windows.

Please see post # 326 in KellyB56's thread Windows Vista Update Hangs at "Checking For Updates" for further details.  If Windows Updates are running for several hours (or even days) on your Vista SP2 machines there is a possible workaround posted on page 1 of m#l's thread Updates not working, it has been searching for updates for hours in the MS Answers forum that could help speed up your Windows Updates.
