Hi all.
As the title says, I keep getting audiodg.exe requesting the use of my webcam, but only when I load up the game Black Desert Online.
I run a Windows 10 system and have a paid version of AVG installed.
This all started after the last update for the game on the 11th of January.

I had run AVG and found no threats.
I had fully removed and reinstalled Black Desert Online, and still get this warning during loading of the game.
I talked with their technical group, and he suggested that I have some malware or virus, and to run ESET smart security.
ESET smart security came up with 0 threats, just like AVG.

Since I am concerned by this particular issue, I figured I would get even more information and see if anyone else had ever had a similar problem.

So I am hoping that someone might have an idea where to go from here.

Regards and thanks.

Update:
Ran another game, and the same dialogue box came up asking for access to my webcam.

Full text:

Webcam Protection
------------------------------------------------------
Detected a program accessing your webcam.
Program: audiodg.exe

Device description: USB Audio Device

PNP Device ID: USB\VIDB58E&PID_9

If you did not initiate the access of your webcam, it is recommended to block it.  Malware often spies on users recording audio and video sessions.

Allow access to your webcam?

-------------------------------------------------------

Then, of course, the requisite yes or no options.

If I hit no, everything works fine.

I am starting to suspect that this is a problem with windows 10.

I have been watching the forums while waiting for a reply, and I kept seeing people talk about Malwarebytes, so I decided to give that a try.

I put it on a full scan of the entire system, and went to sleep.
I woke up this morning and all it came up with was two registry values that were suspect.  (PUM according to Malwarebytes)
I let it do it's thing, and it requested a restart.
System came back up, I tried a game, but the webcam protection still came up.

Someone please advise.

Just an fyi for anyone that has this problem in the future.

This appeared to be a software conflict with Nvidia Geforce Experience.

Turning off NGE, I was able to run my games without the issue occurring.

I hope this helps someone in the future.
