HI,

This is my first post so I hope I have it in the correct area for this problem.

When I right click “My computer icon “on desktop it opens OK but does not show any icons.

Instead I get the “ flashlight“ search symbol for about a minuet before any icons appear.

All other folders open instantly and show all contents

Any help welcome

Id probly go in to hdd disgnotic mode if i saw that, try this.

 

Go to start/run and enter cmd.exe next type in chkdsk /r on the pile.
