Hello,
is it worth it to pay about 60 more for Asus VG248QE(290) or LG 24GM77(280), rather than Acer G6 GN246HLB bid(230)

Check what you need for inputs.  The Acer and Asus have options the LG is HDMI only.  Read the one star reviews on Amazon for them.  The Acer reviews complain about early product failure and "cheap".  The Asus are along the lines of doesn't include the dual DVI cable and bought a refurb with a dead pixel.
