As title - changing values between a range would usually result in Excel automatically refreshing and updating data.

This no longer happens under Windows 10 - is this a known issue and is there a simple fix?

Thanks.

Hi:

I have MS Office 2016 on my Win10 computer, and this fix dates back to 2012 (before Win10), but one thing to check:

excel 2010 - SOME formulas not updating either in manual or auto setting.

Ensure that Calculations is set to automatic.

File -- Options -- Formula - Calculation options -- Automatic

Does that explain or help to resolve the issue?

MM

Thanks MM - I've tried a few options under workbook calcs under that file, but to no avail.

Strange, as the file file works perfectly under win 7 and 8!

Hi:

Is is just one particular file with this problem?

If so, then it's probably something with the file itself.

In that case, can you export the data to a new file or recreate the old file from scratch?

If not, then perhaps it may be something wonky in Excel.

In that case, perhaps try a repair of Excel?  Repair an Office Application

Please post back your results, so that we can all learn.

Thanks,

MM

Hi MM

I think it's just this particular file.  I didn't actually build it and I wouldn't know where to begin!  It was built by an external consultant.

It's a work based system, so I'm not going to repair the application.

I'll probably have to live with it (manually refresh).

It's something to do with a range.  It would start refreshing, but as soon as I enter a value equal to or less than the larger value, it would terminate refreshing.

Thanks for your help.
