So over the past few days I've been interested in Linux dual boots. I dual booted my windows 10 pro with a Kali Linux ISO. After a while it broke and I decided to format my USB stick that had dual booted it. I then restarted my laptop, and this screen showed up. It was a grub rescue mode. It said

error: no such device: 0496f29c-4c43-454e-9fec-ec13b129b91e.
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue >

can anyone help? I desperately need my laptop to start working again thanks

I don't know anything about GRUB

I'd suggest posting over in the Linux forums:  https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/11/linux-unix/

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
