The .Net Framework installation on my Win7 sp1 desktop PC is damaged. It will not repair, uninstall or update since mid December 2016.
It would be much appreciated if some kind soul could help with this please. I recently reinstalled Win7 and would rather not have to do it again.
Thanks.

Have you tried the Microsoft Tool?

Curious as to how you have pegged Net Framework as being in need of repair or reinstallation.

Than you opera the repair tool worked on three issues and then the installation repaired successfully in control panel>add remove programs. The December update then installed alright.

Louis I suppose it was partly a hunch. All other systems had been updating successfully except .Net Framework, I checked to see if I could repair or remove it and received errors.

John.
