On many boards, I can break up a quote so that I can insert replies close to the comment to which they apply. I don;t see how to do that here. Is it possible? If so, how?

Hi:

Yes.

First, click the "quote" button in the lower right corner of the message pane.
Then, click "More Reply Options".
Then, click the "editor" button in the top left ribbon above the message pane (just to the right of your avatar) to toggle into "BBCode".

To break up the quoted text, just put "quote tags" before and after each section, such as:

then the text

When you are done, click the "editor" button to toggle back to Rich Text mode.

And here is another....

Before you hit "Add Reply", you can use the "Preview Post" button to check everything....

Here is an example...

EDIT: Added link to Wikipedia BBCode page.  It's hard for me to SHOW what I mean when I cannot post screenshot attachments.  But I hope this suffices.

Hi:

Yes.

First, click the "quote" button in the lower right corner of the message pane.

OK...

Then, click "More Reply Options".

Got it...

Then, click the "editor" button in the top left ribbon above the message pane (just to the right of your avatar) to toggle into "BBCode".

Aha! That's the key. I thought about that, but when I hovered over it, it did not show any pop-up help text, so I didn't know what it was.

To break up the quoted text, just put "quote tags" before and after each section

Got it. Thanks
