Microsoft accidentally listed the pricing of the high-end consumer versions of Windows Vista on its Canadian website yesterday...but the page was pulled soon after news.

According to Neowin.net, Windows Vista Ultimate was listed as costing $499 Canadian dollars -$450 US dollars or 237 - while Home Premium will be $299 Canadian dollars (142). An upgrade to Vista Ultimate will cost $299, while an upgrade to Home Premium will cost $199...

Microsoft is planning some sort of promotion to allow those who buy PCs this year to move easily and affordably to Vista when it ships next year.
