Hello i am new to this forum and i do not know that if i am posting in the correct section or not. but i need help

So Basically i just built a new PC for low End Gaming.
Core i7 6700k
HyperX 2133 Mhz Ram 8GB
Gigabyte z170x-gaming 3
and Hyper 212 EVO cooler

This is the new hardware i bought and installed these things from my old hardware
Gigabyte GTX 960 g1 gaming
Corsair vs550 Powersupply

Intel 520 Series SSD
Seagate Baracuda 1TB

So the issue i am facing is that my pc randomly restarts sometimes without even having any voltage problem sometimes my pc run without a hitch for 6 7 hours with gaming streaming etc

but then suddenly it restarts and when it start then the problem become consistent and even the GPU stress test wont work once it start restarting if i try to test it it restarts as soon as i press go for GPU stress test.

but its completely random e.g today in the morning i ran the test for 30-60 mins left my Game on for 2 hours no restart but now iwas just streaming some videos and it restarted btw it only restarts when my GPU fans are turning when they are on idle it never happens after diagnosing it talking to different people about it it seems my supply is weak for all that hardware because it might be old and its not giving that efficiency so i ordered a new supply i will get it in 2 days but i wanted to ask you guys that if it is only the supply problem because i am a bit worried that why wont it consistently restarts why is it random i don't know much about the supplies and yesterday i ran my pppc without the gfx card installed was working fine but i don't know it might have restarted because its random sometimes pc run smoothly for even 7 8 hours constantly sometimes it just start restarting in an hour btw there are no blue screen or anything that can indicate GFX card issue it just resets like i pressed the reset button

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

Go to Piriform's website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from Piriform.com (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Add Reply below the Reply box.

By The way i have noticed one more thing when my GPU fans are on Idle and temp is over 50(The GPU Temp) my pc restarts if i try stress test or gaming if it was over 50 on idle but if the temp is around 35-40 it never restarts my guess is when fans suddenly starts turning at high temp it suddenly demands more power from the psu to cool it self down so thats why it restarts but i want your expert opinion on that to tell me if i am right

I have no "expert opinions" on anything...I'm just one of several members who try to be more of an assistant than a hindrance :).

I would download and run SeaTools for Windows on that Seagate hard drive.  It's probably OK but that's what I would do.

Your CPU max temp is 72 Celsius...CPU and motherboard temps are well below that.

Are you still having problems after you reinstalled Windows?

Let it run as is for a couple of days...maybe a new MTB at that point will reflect something useful.  Reinstalling Windows wiped out any tracks that may have been left by whatever, IMO.
