It is an pre-built desktop with AMD E-450 APU with Radeon ™ HD Graphics 1.65 GHz. Because I do not have the ethernet driver, I can't even let Windows update the driver.

I have checked the site, and apparently whenever I am finding an driver on AMD they show the driver and it's features + shop instead..

Drivers+Support tab was so complicated, I have no idea how to find any driver there.

Someone please help me, thank you.

Try that http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Cannot guarantee that's right but it's good guess.

  • What is its default driver?
  • Does driver, that is downloaded from Microsoft not work? (If Windows Update doesn't work, must be reason. Maybe updates not enabled, maybe Windows is corrupted)
  • When was current Windows installed and what is the version?
Use some trusted driver updater like IObit Driver Booster 4 (Current is 4.1.0389) or DriverEasy (current is 5.1.5.5598)
These two have found all drivers, what I have ever looked for.

Hi,

Can you post the brand and model of the motherboard please?

I don't know.. do I try to find it by opening up my computer or go to BIOS or something?

The link does not work (anymore?) Realtek websites not working for me.

If I do not have Ethernet, I do not have internet. I cannot use those programs that require internet. I need the driver directly.

Thank you, I was sorta able to identify the driver as I attempted to download Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCE-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC.

However apparently all the realtek websites are down and I have even tested it using the "Is this website down" website.

Is there another way around this?

Hi Araragi,

Please do the following to allow the correct identification of the card and so we can provide you a direct link to download the driver.

There is no other way if windows doesn't have the needed driver and you don't have a CD for the motherboard the machine have then you must download the driver from the Internet.

  • Open Device Manager click Start then on the Search box type devmgmt.msc and press Enter
  • the Device Manager window will open
  • right click the Unknown device or the device with error under Network Adapters
  • click Properties > Tab Details > On the Property box select Hardware Ids
  • Copy & Paste the values on the box to your Reply

You can download that Realtek driver from various motherboard manufacturer websites. Like https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H97ME/HelpDesk_Download/

That's probably right.

You can find your motherboard model by downloading CPUz and then click the motherboard tab. What OS do you have and is it 32bit or 64bit.
