I just got a new 1 TB Segate Back Up Plus HDD that I wanted to use as extra storage for my PlayStation. When I went to plug it in to the system it came up with an error message saying that it can not be used. I also plugged it into my laptop and it worked then. I don't know how or what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

Your hard drive is probably formatted NTFS. PS4 needs fat32 or exFAT.
