Home of the majestic SEC west college football league HELLO.

I have a cheapest I could find laptop from "Walmom's". It's a Gateway NE56R41u. Started out as a windows 7OS. Had free upgrades to an 8 then 8.1 then 9 then, currently, 10. I've been kind of sort of happy with it. Then I decided to try to speed up boot time along with other nagging problems when I stumbled onto this site searching for the meaning of a happy computer.

I have Avast free antivirus software and Malwarebytes premium program v 3.0.5 to which I have just upgraded. And PeerBlock software which has done wonders to keep hackers away from my precious computer. I have had to disallow all of China and Russia and Turkey from getting to my computer using PeerBlock.

Hope that covers my introducton. I'll be cruising through the forum topics to try to make my computer blazing fast and completely protected from any outside influences. At first blush this looks like a good site.
