Since I found this site and finally learned how to stop those W10 notices  the computer has been perfect. Malwarebytes and superanti programs have kept me clean and operating normally.. Noticed there are 59 updates that have not auto-loaded.

How can I determine exactly what they do and if they are actually required by Microsoft.

Thanks

General Chat is not the right place for this sort of discussion.

If you post back with detaiils of your OS and the make and model of your computer I will move your topic to the correct OS section.

I currently have all updates dis-abled  My question was how to determine what updates are really needed.
Last time it wanted me to set MSN and the primary and to allow all updates automatically. After stopping the windows 10 insults
my computer behaves like normal and I`m not looking forward to an update that I didnt want or dont like.

Only allow Security Updates but since October Microsoft has changed the way updates are delivered. When using Windows Update you will get a Security Rollup package that includes security updates and also any "Quality" updates which can be anything. Eventually Microsoft wants the rollup packages to include all updates since SP1 including all the telemetry and other important updates.

Security only rollups are still available through the Windows Update Catalog but there are no longer going to be individual security updates.
