Why can't we embed prntscr.com images?

I, and I'm sure many others do also, have the Lightshot program downloaded, which allows us to upload a picture to prntscr.com by simply pressing the print scrn button on our keyboard.

When attempting to embed the image into a post on here, this is all that's visible (a tiny square displaying dm8mb0):

You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community.

I believe this is the cause of the issue.. the image extension is being blocked. Is there a reason for this?


It would be extremely handy to be able to embed prntscr.com images.

Well there is no image extension, so it wont be accepted. What if you right click on the image in Lightshot and select open image in a new tab. That should open an image url that has a proper image extension.
