Stumbled upon a fun little application called Xeyes, which is a pair of eyes that follow your mouse pointer. You can resize the program window to change the size of the eyes. It is available in the repos for Ubuntu, and Debian as part of the package "x11-apps".

Its kinda fun for a while, till you wife gets on the PC next to you and you make it look like the eyes are staring at her chest, but I think my biggest mistake was making the eyes roll when she said something about putting the trash out, there a heaps of novelties like this out there.
