Does anyone know where I can find a free ad blocker like Adfender.  Adfender says that it is a free version but after you install it you keep getting notices daily when it expires.  I would like one that is similar and not have to pay each year for it.  I have Windows 10.  Thanks,  Alberta

You could use AdBlock or AdBlocker Ultimate in combination with  Popup Blocker Pro and you are good to go. They are all free, I do not suggest using them all the time, the thing is websites need money resources so they can pay the domain host and domain name. I would however use them in websites where they place sex-related advertisements.

I use uBlock Origin in Chrome and Firefox:

Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en

Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

and then I use AdBlockPlus for other browsers (such as IE and Edge):

https://adblockplus.org/

For Edge, you may have to get it from the Windows Store (it's free).
