So i came on this site as usual and i noticed that there is some sort of ad that has thumbnails of a bunch of computer related videos and says "Powered by TVpage.com".Is this adware or what because i havent seen any ads on other sites like this one and it also has the same kind of text other little tabs like "Latest Forum Topics" have.

Certainly not adware. I get the same exact compilation of videos.

No not adware...just a new video feature I am testing out.

What do you think of it?

Can't say I like it. I, as well, thought they were ads you were running.

they are definetely ads because the videos have product placement on the side for whatever product is shown in them

Will see what I can do to make the product placement not show if a user is logged in.

Is it the look and feel that looked adsy? If product placement was removed, would it still feel like an ad?

I'd say that the contents of the videos definitely feel adsy, since they're all either product showcases (by the manufacturer himself) or product-specific videos, as opposed to generally informative videos.

Fair enough. And if we had product reviews, tutorials, and instructional videos?

This is a great idea, but I agree with Xoctane — the videos are a little too adsy. On the other hand, I'd love to see our very own BleepingComputer videos there. :) I really enjoy your YouTube videos — more people should be aware of them! Regardless, I would like the videos to be below the "Latest Forum Topics" section, as I find videos always a bit distracting.

Will work on implementing the suggestions. May take a day or so to get them up and running.

I would be interested in seeing any kind of video which are IT Security related. I wouldn't mind that at all.

They will be in there. The ultimate goal will to be show related videos based on the content of the page. We are in the very early stages and feedback like this is great!

Product listings are now removed for members as part of our no ads for members policy.

Going to start adding some of our own videos to the widget.
